Qiaoyi remembers the financial struggles of her childhood like it was yesterday. Back then, almost every meal was at coffee shops, only on special occasions did the family treat themselves at Swensens. She was envious of other kids who dressed well with fancy possessions. After her father’s retrenchment, her family had to downsize from a condominium to a HDB. It was then Qiaoyi began to learn the importance of finances – she undertook multiple part-time jobs to earn an allowance for herself and relieve her parents of their financial situation.

Despite having graduated in psychology, Qiaoyi’s determination to a more financially empowered life led her to become a certified associate wealth planner. Qiaoyi’s belief is life is 10% of what happens to us, and 90% about how we respond. With financial planning, one can stay ahead and create more options and choices for themselves. With the help of her mentor, she managed to provide for herself and her family within 3 months of joining the industry. Qiaoyi is a firm believer in lifelong learning and seeks to constantly upgrade her advisory practice by furthering her professional qualifications. 

Today, she is an Associate Wealth Planner and currently pursuing the certification of Certified Financial Planner (CFP)™, the acclaimed gold standard in financial planning. Placing in the top 6% globally at the esteemed Million Dollar Round Table, she is also an Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP)® and Singapore Accredited Mortgage Planner (SAMP)™. Qiaoyi is also an Accredited Enneagram Practitioner She has conducted company-wide training, coached numerous advisors, and creates materials for sales processes and training. 

Qiaoyi is passionate about LGBTQ+ and animal rights. She believes everyone is unique, and equal and deserves the best chance at being true to themselves. She enjoys music and dancing in her free time.
